Part of the guide: RC car brands

Here we’ll tell you about Nikko RC, the biggest company in the world of toy-grade radio control. It holds licenses from the most popular car brands, such as Ford, Volkswagen, Chevrolet and Porsche, and designs small scale cars.
In this section we’ll show you some of the most popular Nikko models on the RC car market.
To see the details and specs of each one, just pick the one you like best.
The history of Nikko
This company also comes from Japan. It was founded in 1958 by Takeshi Hattori. Its first production radio-controlled car was released in 1966, and by 1973 Nikko had a fully working assembly line.
By 1977 the company had expanded beyond Japan, reaching the United States, Canada and almost every corner of the world. The Nikko R/C lineup covered a wide variety of vehicles, from buggies to high-speed and off-road cars, plus radio-controlled boats and planes.

One of this manufacturer’s most popular designs was the F10, a two-wheel-drive buggy that sold very well and went on to spawn many more versions of the F10.
In 2014 the global toy company Toy State bought the rights to Nikko, taking over its operations in Japan and its Hong Kong offices. After this acquisition the company added many more RC models and components.
Nikko RC vehicle models
You’ll see that this brand doesn’t just design and build RC cars: you can also find boats, and in recent years it has added RC airplane models as well.
You’ll find some of these models through the Amazon link at the top of this article. Pick the one you like best to see its details.
Before you place your order, we recommend checking the details of each product so you can be sure you’re getting the right one for you.
Nikko RC Ford Fiesta WRC
This is one of the brand’s most popular models, and it’s a very realistic scale replica of the car that races in the World Rally Championship. As we mentioned earlier, Nikko holds the rights to reproduce several models from the most famous car brands, and this is one of them.
It’s a 1:16 scale RC car that runs on a 27 MHz frequency. It’s an electric model and ideal for kids.
It can reach speeds of up to 5.3 mph (8.5 km/h), which makes it an ideal model for a little one getting started in RC cars.
To see this model’s specs and all its other details, just follow the Amazon link above.
Choose your favorite Nikko RC model
As always, our website lets you find a wide variety of radio-controlled car models. Clicking the car you like best will take you to Amazon, where you can complete your purchase.
We rely on this platform for sales because of its huge reputation and because it lets you buy quickly, safely and easily without leaving home.
You can also take advantage of the various perks Amazon offers, especially discounts on shipping for your orders, so your new RC car may end up costing you even less than you thought.
Another shipping option is gift wrapping, so you can give the car to someone by having it sent straight to their home.
